Okay, anyone that knows me at all knows that I hate the snow. I hate the wetness, I hate the cold, and most of all I hate driving in it.
Last night something strange happened. Cord and I were headed up his road and it was snowing, and we had to stop so he could put chains on his tires. We were stuck on the dirt road in the "forest" for about 45 minutes, and I had to roll down the windows so I could hear whether he wanted me to back the car up or pull it forward a little bit. And do you know what I heard? Complete silence. It was beautiful. Seeing the snow fall, the trees all frosted in white, it was amazing. It made me want to go hiking right then and there. Which I didn't because it was freezing. But really, I've always looked at snow as an enemy, when really it's one of the most peaceful things in the world.
Let's see what else happened this week... Cord and I went to the Melting Pot to celebrate Valentine's Day. It was great I love that place :) I also went to Tepanyaki with my family for my birthday. Those are my two favorite restaurants, so it was a good week.
Life is good :)
