How You Know You're Just About Done Being Pregnant

• When you're wearing clothes you resemble Mr. Smee, because not even your maternity shirts cover your belly anymore.
• When turning over in bed becomes a battle with yourself; first you have to talk yourself into it, then you spend 5 minutes doing it.
• When you've been thinking you're lucky cuz you haven't gotten any stretch marks, then one day you look in the mirror extra close and realize it's because they're all on the underside of your stomach, which you totally can't see. :(
• When you know exactly how this baby needs to come out and you're more than willing to do it because you're just done with this pregnancy thing.

Anyways, happy 38 weeks to me.  Two more to go!

Full-Term Baby and a Baby Shower!

Well I am now officially full-term!  Baby can come anytime she wants!  Here is me, being full-term.

In the meantime, I am SO ready to be done being pregnant!  I thought it was bad before.  Now I am having lots of fun "practice" contractions, during which I can't breathe so well.  The doctor says it's a good thing.  Whatever.
Luckily for me, my last day of work is Friday.  I am so ready to be done!  I enjoy sleeping a lot and laying on the couch in an uncomfortable sort of way.
In other news, my awesome family threw me a baby shower the other week, at the delicious restaurant Leatherby's.  Yum yum.

35 Weeks!

Well, only 5 weeks to go now!  I truly can't wait.  One, I can't wait to be done being pregnant.  I'd rather do the first trimester all over again than survive this last month.  I'm so tired all the time, my whole body aches, I've STILL got a lil' morning sickness going on, and depending on where Baby decides to hang out, things can get really uncomfortable!  But mostly, I'm just ready to meet my baby!  It's ok though, I want her to cook as long as she needs :)

I put in my notice at work!  I have 2 1/2 weeks left!  My last day will be September 20th.  And then I'll have like... 2 weeks-ish til my due date!  Yay!
Cord started fall semester, which he is just super thrilled about.  He is taking sociology, some sort of art class, and geography.  How fun.  He is also still working away at L-3.  He is such a hard worker!  He gets home from a 10 hour day at work, goes to class, does homework, and STILL makes sure he helps me with dinner or laundry or whatever I need help with.  I'm very lucky to be married to someone with such a great work ethic.
