so i'm trying to update the blog at least once a month!  hopefully i will do better this year.

february was a fun month for us.  first of all, little skylar turned 2 months old.  she had her 2 month appointment and weighed in at 11 pounds 15 oz, and 23 inches.  she is still a chubby thing, but her growth is slowing down just a little bit, which is what happened with aria too.  she was also diagnosed with both a yeast infection on her bum, and thrush in her mouth.  poor thing!

we celebrated valentine's day a little early so we could go out without the girls.  we went to olive garden and to see "pride and prejudice and zombies", and it was just a great night going on a date finally after all the craziness of the last six months.
of course, we spoiled the girls a little on valentines day too.  they both got a little toy from us and aria got to color some "frozen" valentines for family.

at the end of february i also celebrated my 27th birthday.  man i am old!  cord took most the day off so i could go out shopping, which was a blast!  ha ha.  that night we went to dinner at Pizza Factory so i could have a yummy breadstick.  it was such a perfect day with my little family. 

2 other fun things- we took aria ice skating for the first time and she loved it- especially when dad carried her and went really fast :)

also, i finally did something with aria's bare room! we still can't do a ton because she quite the destructive little thing, but i indulged her love of "frozen."

she pretty much loves it!  ha ha.  dad, not so much.
