4 Months Old and Valentine's Day

Little Aria turned 4 months old!  I truly can't believe how quickly time is passing.  She'll be a year before I know it!  She is becoming a real character.  She laughs at the strangest things (me changing her diaper, Cord singing silly songs), and is constantly smiling.  She loves screaming to get attention.  She has a few toys that are her absolute favorites.  She can roll over both ways, and loves to play in her bouncer.  We tried her on some rice cereal, and she got it down so fast!  Now that's one of her favorite parts of the day, rice cereal time.
For Valentine's Day we stayed in (we have a baby, remember)?  It was my turn to plan it this year, so we had a candlelit Chinese takeout dinner.  Romantic, I know!  Cord got me a bonsai tree, and I got him a giftcard to Carl's Jr so lunchtime isn't peanut butter and honey every day.  We got little Aria some new rattles for her gift.  I can't wait til she actually knows what's going on on holidays!  Ha ha.  We'll have to see how Easter goes...

January

I can't believe the first month of 2014 is already over.  Like really!  Life goes by too fast these days.  On the bright side, winter is sort of almost over.  Sort of.  Here's January in a nutshell for us.

-Aria was blessed.  This is huge for us!  It was great to have all our closest friends and family there.
-Aria turned 3 months old.  Where is the time going??  She will be a year in no time!
-Cord started Spring semester, taking public speaking, a geography class, and math.
-I started Spring semester at the U, taking a history class that so far is super interesting.


Life is good!  Here's to an excellent February!
