The Holidays Start WAY Too Early.

I went to Kohl's yesterday to get Aria a few things, and BAM, all the Christmas stuff is up.  Come on guys, it's the beginning of November.  Did we forget about Thanksgiving??  Apparently, because Pandora already has the 'Holiday' playlist up.  On the plus side, this year they added 'Celtic Christmas'.  Made my whole season.
Speaking of Aria, she is almost a month old!  I can't believe how time has flown!  I already miss her "newborn" look.  She has grown so much already!

Isn't she so cute??  I certainly think so.  :)  The last couple days, she has been GRINNING at both me and Cord.  It is the cutest thing ever.
We've been trying to get out of the house more so I don't go stir-crazy, so Aria and I went to her first "play date" at my friend Lindsay's house.  She has a 3 year old and a nearly 2 month old, so that was fun :)

Aw!  Best friends already!  Or maybe something more???...  Ha ha
It was my dad's 50th birthday this past week!  Crazy!  My mom threw him a big birthday party last night.  We went to Maddox Steakhouse, and then had the whole family over to play "Minute-to-Win-It" games.  It was super fun.  Me and Cord were a team and we only won 1 of the 9 games. :/.  Apparently we need to practice more?
Cord caught a cold this past week, so that's been scary.  I am SO paranoid about my little 3 week old baby getting sick!  So far so good though... knock on wood!

Oh Crap, I Am Moving in 3 Weeks.

Don't ask me how.  How do you pack up an entire apartment AND take care of a newborn??  I'm open to suggestions.

In other news, Aria is 3 weeks old now.  We've also decided she has a milk allergy, so I have completely cut dairy out of my diet.  It's a whole lot harder than it looks.  But worth it, to have a happier baby.

Our Halloween wasn't too fun.  It's far too time-consuming taking care of a newborn to do much of anything else.. I'm hoping I figure out the secret of doing ANYTHING else besides changing diapers, feeding, and holding a little baby.  Ha.
